The Twin Tugs Revisited

We dove on the Twin Tugs (N 2958.129 W 8551.264) May 25 2012. We shot some Amberjacks and RudderJacks. Visibility was excellent when we could get away from the bait fish. Originally sunk apart from each other, these tug boats have been tossed around by passing storms. They are now upright and laying on top of each other. The wreck rises to 60′ and the max depth is 100′.

We love this dive and it was the first place I saw large jew fish on wrecks, probably 6 or 7 years ago. Now they are on every dive it seems. Some one explained to me that they used to be the McDonald’s fish sandwich material.
